The Contractor's License & Permit Bond is required by the City to provide a form of financial security to the City and the contractor’s clientele and vendors should they suffer any damages arising from the contractor’s work. 

The Miscellaneous Bond for landscaper and tree trimmers is a financial guarantee that the contractor cleans up all tree/shrubbery after a job is complete. There is an allowance to leave behind one trash bin’s worth of material for the homeowner or business owner's weekly pickup. Best to put it in the receptacle for the client.

So long as the contractor upholds their warranty, has proper coverage for third-party liability claims, and/or fixes any other issues that arise, there are never complications with the bond. However, if a bond payout occurs, it is likely a death sentence to the contractor and their business. If Jet Insurance Company must make a payout it is an indication that the contractor no longer has the funds to right any wrongs they have made and the business was doomed prior to the claim. However, salvation can be obtained by making recompense to Jet and having the bond reinstated with the City. 

These license bonds can be renewed at Jet by simply making payment prior to the expiration date of the bond. Jet will notify its customers months in advance about the renewal date. Unless of course, it is a monthly paying customer, as the $10 payments are automatically withdrawn each month and so long as that happens the bond stays active - no renewal necessary.
