A $10,000 Driver Education School Bond is required for schools providing such courses in Texas. A $5,000 Driver Education School Branch Location Bond is required for each branch thereafter. In addition, a $10,000 Driver Safety Course Provider Bond is mandated for institutions that act as course providers for driver safety schools.
Schools offering cosmetology and/or barber education courses need to be licensed with the State of Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation and hold a Barber School Permit Bond.
Schools that offer real estate or real estate inspection courses or programs must be licensed with the Texas Real Estate Commission and hold a $20,000 Real Estate School Bond.
