Deputy game wardens and special game wardens are regulated by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. A surety bond is enforced for both licenses - a $2,000 Deputy Game Warden Bond and a $2,500 Special Game Warden Bond.

Qualified individuals/groups who want to host a competitive Hunting Dog Event must apply for a Field Trial Permit with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. A $5,000 Competitive Hunting Dog Event Bond is mandatory for applicants.

The Texas Department of Agriculture requires agricultural warehousemen to hold either a Grain Warehouse Operator Bond or Public Warehouseman Bond, depending on the type warehouse.
