As a contractor working within University Heights, you are required to follow the specifications of your license as well as the University Heights Codified Ordinances. Generally, this means that all construction work that you take on will be faithfully completed, i.e. you won’t abandon the project halfway through or use defective materials. As long as you fulfill your contract and follow building regulations, you should be able to avoid causing any harm to your customers and therefore, receiving a bond claim.
A bond claim would be filed when your failure causes monetary loss to a customer. The bond is available to reimburse the injured party for having to pay for labor or materials to fix your ill actions. You are still responsible for paying Jet back in the amount that was given as restitution.
