The Plumber and Sewer Builder Bond is required to ensure that the contractor abides by all licensing/permit regulations, pays all fees and fines due, and maintains the work area for a period of six months after the competition of the project. If the licensee fails to fulfill any of these legal obligations, the surety bond may be used as restitution for losses incurred by the City themselves or any other harmed public person or entity.
