The City of Perrysburg, Ohio requires excavators, sewer tappers, and driveway/sidewalk contractors to be licensed with the Planning and Zoning Department. To be approved for a license, a Contractor Bond must be filed by the applicant.
Perrysburg surety bond amounts depend on the classification of the contractor’s license. Excavators and sewer tappers require a $10,000 bond, and driveway/sidewalk contractors need a $3,000 bond.
At Jet, all contractor classifications listed above can purchase their Contractor Bond for a guaranteed price of $100 for one year. Just click the button above and you can purchase your bond within minutes!
If you are interested in a longer-term, Jet also offers multi-year bonds. Take a look at the chart below for guaranteed prices at various bond terms.

2 Years | $175 |

The original signed and sealed Contractor License Bond must be filed with the Perrysburg Planning and Zoning Department at the following mailing address:
City of Perrysburg
Planning and Zoning Department
201 West Indiana Ave
Perrysburg, OH 43551
If you are a first-time license or permit applicant, all applications and documents required can be found on the City’s “Forms & Permits” webpage.
The purpose of the Perrysburg Contractor Bond is to ensure that the applicant is qualified to perform excavation, sewer, or driveway/sidewalk construction work, as well as make certain that all license regulations are being followed correctly. If the contractor commits a violation or causes unresolvable damages, the surety bond will act as a financial guarantee for the harmed party.
It is important to note that excavators and sewer tappers are expected to make any and all repairs to the work site for one year following the completion of the project, and driveway/sidewalk contractors must fulfill this same obligation for three years following the date of the completed project. If such repairs are needed, the City’s Service-Safety Director will give you a 48-hour notice of the problem and repairs/maintenance to be conducted.
Jet will send you a renewal invoice far in advance of your bond term expiration date via email and mail. Simply fulfill standard payment and your bond will remain active with the City of Perrysburg for another term.
