The Parma Heights Building Department regulates contractors working on street improvement /subdivision projects or storm and sanitary sewers. Regulating contractors allows the City to be confident in the quality of work that will be done. If the contractor fails to perform the work to the standards given, the City can seek action from the bond for fulfilling the project. This includes any repairs or replacements that may be needed for two years after the job is done to make sure that the paving, grading, curbing, or draining work will not keep public or private streets out of commission because of the contractor’s actions. 

You are ultimately responsible for completing the work you were hired to do and maintain it as needed for two years.
