After your payment has gone through, Jet will prepare your bond form. The original bond will be mailed to you to sign and attach with your contractor license application. Please note that the City will not accept an incomplete contractor registration packet. The packet must be mailed in to:

All Parma Contractor Bonds are used to ensure that the projects that contractors take on will be completed according to the contract and license obligations, and above all, will meet the standards given in the Parma Codified Ordinances. If the project is left unfinished or is otherwise defective, the contractor is obligated to make repairs or replacements to bring the project or site into compliance. 

In order to avoid bond claims, you should uphold your contractual obligations from start to finish. If any adjustments are needed, make sure to fix them as soon as possible. If you cannot or will not bring the job to completion, a claim will be filed. You are responsible for paying Jet back for any bond claim payouts.

I, the undersigned, hereby apply for a Dishonesty Bond also known as a Business Service Bond or Janitorial Service Bond (“bond”) to the Surety Company (“SURETY”) through Jet Insurance Company (“JET”), with whom I hereby grant the authority to act on my behalf with respect to the bond and assign as my Broker of Record, and declare that the statements herein are true and correct.
