The original signed and sealed Waste Discharge Bond, along with the appropriate permit paperwork, must be filed with the Newark Waste and Wastewater Division at the following mailing address:

The Newark, Ohio Wastewater Treatment Plant requires individuals who have been approved for a Trucked Waste Discharge Permit to acquire the Waste Discharge Bond to ensure that the licensee will abide by all regulations regarding the City’s sewer system, as well as pay all fees associated with their permit. If the permittee commits a violation when discharging waste or if they cause damages to the sewer system, the surety bond will act as restitution for losses incurred by the Waste and Wastewater Division. 

In order to maintain your permit with the Division, your Waste Discharge Bond must remain active. With this in mind, Jet will send you a renewal invoice prior to your bond term’s expiration date. Upon receiving our notice, just fulfill the payment and your surety bond will remain active with the City of Newark for another term.
