The Massillon Building Department mandates a bond requirement for all types of contractors to make sure that they will comply with their particular provisions of the Massillon Code of Ordinances. By doing so, they will avoid injuring property owners or the City through negligent or deceitful business practices. If a contractor leaves a project unfinished or otherwise defrauds their client, a claim on the bond can be filed so the injured person can be compensated.

I, the undersigned, hereby apply for a Dishonesty Bond also known as a Business Service Bond or Janitorial Service Bond (“bond”) to the Surety Company (“SURETY”) through Jet Insurance Company (“JET”), with whom I hereby grant the authority to act on my behalf with respect to the bond and assign as my Broker of Record, and declare that the statements herein are true and correct.
