This bond is a requirement for the issuance of right-of-way permits in Lebanon, of which there are three kinds: 

The bond is issued for a specific project and will stay on file for three years following the end of said project, as indicated in Section 909.12 of the Lebanon Code of Ordinances. During this time, you are responsible for making any repairs to the site. Any failure to hold up your end of the bargain will result in the City filing a claim on the bond to bring the project site to a usable condition. The City will also accept a letter of credit instead of a bond.
