The Right-of-Way Bond goes into effect during the course of your permit to account for any damages that might occur while construction is ongoing and must be held in place for two years after work is completed. You are responsible for making any necessary repairs or replacements that are a result of inadequate workmanship. A final inspection will be held before the County releases your bond. 

You can make sure that there will not be any issues with your work by following the obligations of your permit and Chapter 5547 of the Ohio Revised Code. While mining, quarrying, or crossing over county roads, you must keep an open passageway in compliance with the Ohio Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices. Once the work is finished, you must leave the site in a usable condition that is safe for public use and provide maintenance as needed.
