The original signed and sealed Contractor Bond and your completed Contractor License Application must be filed with the LaGrange Zoning and Permit Department at the following mailing address:

If you are renewing your license with the Department, you will need to fill out and submit the Contractor Renewal License Application to the above address. 

The Contractor License Bond is required by the LaGrange Zoning and Permit Department to ensure that the contractor will perform all general construction up to license regulations and fulfill the obligations of their contractors. The surety bond will act as a financial guarantee for the Village and any person of the public if a violation is committed. For example, if a contractor commits a breach of contract such as just not completing the job they were fired to do, the client may use the bond as restitution for financial losses incurred.
