Highland Hills, Ohio requires all contractors to be licensed to assure the Building Department that the individual is qualified and prepared to follow all the Village’s construction codes. The Contractor Registration Bond is an additional requirement to ensure that the contractor will be held responsible for their job performance. If a license violation is committed that leads to financial damages, the bond may be used as restitution for losses incurred by the harmed person or entity.

Your contractor license with the Building Department will expire on December 31st each year, and your bond will need to be active to qualify for a renewed registration. Considering this, the Jet team will send you a renewal invoice prior to your bond term expiration date.
