Contractors working on new houses are required to file a Performance Bond with the Village of Gloria Glens, Ohio. The bond exists to provide the Village and any citizens who have been injured by the actions of a new house builder a way to be reimbursed for damages.
The bond must be in a minimum amount of $20,000, but shall be enough to cover the cost of damages. Click the button above to begin your application for the Gloria Glens Performance Bond. Jet will only ask for the information needed, which may include your social security number for a soft credit check. Don’t worry, this won’t affect your credit score.
Once your application is complete, a Jet underwriter will review your application and email your quote when it’s ready. The price you pay for the bond will only be a small percentage of the bond limit required. All you need to do is click the link in the email to complete your purchase!
After you have submitted payment, Jet will prepare the Gloria Glens Performance Bond form and send it directly to the Village. If you need to file the bond yourself, you can choose to have it mailed to you when you are checking out. You will need to mail the bond to:
Village of Gloria Glens
PO Box 457
Chippewa Lake, OH 44215
Gloria Glens Village established this bond requirement that contractors will honor their obligations when making new houses. If they leave construction unfinished or otherwise defective, a claim on the bond can be made to account for the cost of the labor or materials needed to complete the job.
The Contractor Bond will be active during the course of construction and for one year following the completion of the project to ensure that your workmanship is satisfactory.
