The original signed and sealed Plumbing Contractor Bond and your completed Plumbing Contractor Registration Application must be submitted to the Cuyahoga County Board of Health at the following mailing address:

The Plumbing Contractor Registration Bond is required to ensure that the contractor will perform all plumbing operations up to the Board of Health’s regulations. If the contractor commits a violation that leads to financial damages for the Board or a person of the public and the contractor refuses to resolve the issue, the surety bond may be used as restitution for losses incurred by the harmed party. It is important to note that action may only be commenced on the bond within two years of the alleged violation.

As for the renewal of your Plumbing Contractor Bond, the Jet team will send you a renewal invoice prior to your expiration date (December 31st) via mail and email. To renew, simply complete the payment due and your bond will remain active with the Cuyahoga County Board of Health for another term.
