According to the Clark County Combined Health District Plumbing Regulations, the Plumber and Sewer Tapper Bond is required to ensure that the licensee will perform all plumbing and sewer installations, repairs, and any other maintenance services up to the code. If the licensee commits a violation that leads to financial damages for the county or a person of the public, the harmed party may file a claim on the surety bond to cover their losses.
Your plumbing contractor or sewer tapper license will expire on December 31st each year.
