Those on the monthly payment plan do not need to worry about renewals; each payment keeps the bond active!
To cancel the bond, send Jet an email at [email protected]. Our team will notify the city or county that your bond is on file with and they will begin a 30-day cancellation period. Once 30 days has been reached and Jet is released from liability, our team will calculate a refund based on the time left of the term that was purchased. Monthly payments are not eligible for a refund, but the payments will be stopped after the cancellation is finalized.
An auctioneer is bound to following licensing provisions as well as the local ordinances for auctions and auctioneers.
Failure to follow these regulations can often result in fraud or dishonest business practices that cause loss to purchasers or sellers of auctioned items. If you act in contrast to these ordinances and financially harm someone, that person can seek compensation through a claim on the Auctioneer Bond.
Notify Jet right away if you receive a claim filing. We will review the evidence to check the validity of the claim. If it is legitimate, we are obligated to pay out the claim as restitution. However, keep in mind that unlike an insurance claim, you must pay back a claim payout from a surety bond.
