The Department of Insurance, Financial Institutions, and Professional Registration manages the licensure of public adjusters and public adjuster solicitors within the State of Missouri.
To receive and maintain a license, the Department requires a surety bond from the applicant—either a Public Adjuster Bond or a Public Adjuster Solicitor Bond.
Jet Insurance Company provides both surety bonds to act as a means of restitution to any consumer that has faced wrongful financial damages at the hands of the licensee. This may occur if a license violation such as negligence, unethical conduct, a breach of contract, and/or fraud is committed.
Both the Public Adjuster Bond and the Public Adjuster Solicitor Bond may be purchased via Jet’s exclusive monthly payment plan!
According to the Department, the Public Adjuster Bond typically has a $10,000 required limit, however, if you are a licensee that is to be employed by a person, partnership, association, or corporation that is already licensed as a public adjuster, only a $1,000 bond limit is needed.
It is important to note that if you are a public adjuster corporation, a standard $10,000 bond limit is always mandated by the Department.
Either way, the Public Adjuster Bond may be purchased instantly at $100 for a one-year term or a convenient $10 a month. For additional bond terms (we offer multi-year options), take a look at the chart below for our promised prices.
