GA JIC DUI, Alcoholic, and Drug Use Risk Reduction Program Bond
The State of Georgia requires a $10,000 bond for any owners or directors of a DUI, Alcoholic, and Drug Use Risk Reduction Program location. This bond can be purchased through Jet Insurance Company for a $100 annual premium or $10 a month.
The purpose of this bond is to educate and rehabilitate former DUI drivers to be able to return to the road safely. This furthers the Department of Driver Services’ goal to ensure public safety while people are behind the wheel.
How Do I File My Bond?
Jet makes applying for your DUI, Alcoholic, and Drug Use Risk Reduction Program Bond simple. Once purchased, we will send you an original copy by mail, as well as provide an immediate electronic copy. Now that you have your newly purchased and signed bond, you will need to send it to the address below:
If you decide to cancel your bond, email us at [email protected]. The State of Georgia requires a 30-day grace period once the cancellation notice has been submitted. This allows for any complaints or claims to come forth while the program location begins to close.
If a claim is deemed valid by the Department of Driver Services and the financial damages are not taken care of, Jet Insurance Company will step in and remedy the damages. This, however, does not clear you from your financial responsibility. As with all surety bond companies, you will still need to pay Jet back in the amount our company covers for the claim.
