Contractor's Surety Bond
Contractor’s working within the Town of Windermere are required to obtain a $10,000 Contractor’s Surety Bond. As long as contractors complete their work in a timely manner and up to code, bond claims can be avoided. If the Town finds any issue with construction and the contractor refuses or fails to address the issue, the bond can be tapped for reimbursement to complete said issues. The bond term ends September 30th and must be renewed annually.
