Telemarketing companies (aka commercial telephone sellers) need to file a $50,000 Telemarketing Bond with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) as part of their licensing. The bond is used to keep consumers or purchasers safe from financial losses when a telemarketer violates their contract or other provisions of the Florida Telemarketing Act, including misrepresentation, fraud, or financial failure.
The FDACS regulates commercial telephone sellers to protect the general welfare of the public while also protecting the integrity of the telemarketing industry. Buying a bond with Jet Insurance Company coincides with this goal by providing an avenue for reimbursement for illegal actions.
What Is the Lowest Price for the Telemarketing Bond?
The cost of a Telemarketing Bond with Jet starts at just $50 a month or $500 a year. However, rates are dependent on a soft credit check (not a hard inquiry) and we may need to review business financials. The chart below illustrates the rates a preferred credit applicant can be approved for. Rates are based on an underwriter review of the application.
