Master plumbers are responsible for upholding state licensure requirements, as well as following all permit regulations pursuant to the Tallahassee, FL Municode. If it is found that the plumber performed poor workmanship, used faulty materials, or caused damages on a job that remains unresolved, the damaged claimant may file a claim on the Master Plumber Bond. However, it is important to note that a claim may only be filed by the harmed party within one year following the completion of the work in question. Communications services providers must follow the terms and conditions of their franchise agreement with the City, and if an upgrade or rebuild to a cable communications system is needed, the obligations surrounding the construction permit must be upheld. If a violation is committed, the City has a right to file a claim on either the Franchise Performance Bond or the Construction Bond.
