If you are seeking a larger bond amount (i.e. anything over $15k), a Jet underwriter may contact you for additional details regarding the finances of your business. No need to worry though—it’s a simple process and we’ll get you an approved rate quickly.

The Jet team can file your surety bond for you. However, if you would prefer to take care of this step yourself and file the form along with your completed Right-of-Way Utilization Permit, the option to do so may be selected at checkout.

The original signed and sealed Right-of-Way and Easement Completion Bond must be submitted to the Pinellas Park Public Works Department, Construction Services at the following mailing address:

City of Pinellas Park
Public Works Department
Construction Services
PO Box 1100
Pinellas Park, FL 33780

The contractor is responsible for fulfilling the terms and conditions of their permit, as well as meeting all applicable construction standards pursuant to Chapter 14 of the Pinellas Park, FL Municode

Once construction upon the right-of-way or easement is executed, the City Engineer will perform an inspection. If improvements need to be made due to poor workmanship, the use of faulty materials, damages caused, or the general failure to meet permit standards, the contractor will be sent notice to complete the request within a certain timeline (no more than a 30-day period). In cases where the contractor does not repair such damages or improvements ordered by the city, a claim may be filed upon the Right-of-Way and Easement Completion Bond. Funds from the bond will be used to cover the cost of hiring a new contractor to take over the needed right-of-way and/or easement improvements.
