Sports retailers, bait-and-tackle shops, or other third parties authorized to issue hunting, game, and/or fishing licenses need to file a Hunting and Fishing License Agent Bond, aka the Selling of Game and Fishing licenses Bond, with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
The bond’s purpose is to protect the Commission against a licensed agent (sometimes called a sub-agent) from taking money without fulfilling the issuance of licenses or submitting owed money to the Commission.
Whether you are authorized by the State of Florida or a specific county (Alachua, Brevard, Collier, Glades, Palm Beach, Pinellas, Volusia, or Walton), Jet makes it easy to get your Hunting/Fishing/Game Sub-Agent Bond because you’re dealing directly with our team, not any middlemen.
Click the button above to purchase your Hunting and Fishing License Agent Bond for just $10 a month or $100 per year. Jet guarantees these rates for all sub-agents who apply!
Payment Term | Cost |
---|---|
Monthly | $10 |
Annual | $100 |
Jet offers a unique opportunity to purchase your Fish and Game Sub-Agent Bond on a monthly basis. Think of it as pay-as-you-go—as long as your payments go through, your bond will continue.
As mentioned above, you are automatically approved for your Fish and Game License and Permit Bond. When you click the button to purchase, you will need to just submit general business information that is needed to complete the bond form.
Once that’s all done, you just select whether you’re paying for your bond monthly or by the year and add in the payment information to complete your purchase. You will receive a confirmation email with an electronic receipt and a copy of your bond.
Jet will prepare the physical copy of your Fish and Game Sub-Agent Bond and send it to the obligee (either the State or the County) for you. Or, if you need to send the bond in yourself, you can choose that option when making payment. The addresses can be found below.

If your county isn’t listed here, check with your local regulator to see where the bond needs to be filed.
Renewing your Hunting/Fishing Agent Bond will often require a continuation certificate. Jet will send you a renewal notice through the mail and through email. Once you pay for your renewal, Jet will get your continuation certificate ready and mail it to you—or, if allowed, directly to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) or the county.
To renew bonds filed with counties where a continuation certificate isn’t required, the process is even easier. All you need to do is submit payment for your renewal and that’s that!
For those doing monthly payments, you don’t even have to worry about renewal paperwork. As long as your payments are able to be processed, Jet will keep your bond active. If you are required to submit a continuation certificate, Jet will send one to you on the anniversary of your bond issuance.
If you need to cancel your Hunting and Fishing Agent Bond, send Jet an email at [email protected]. The cancellation process will depend on who holds your bond. Typically, the bond will remain in effect until cancellation is requested by Jet as the surety company. Jet would only petition for cancellation at your request or for nonpayment.
When the County Tax Collector or the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission receives a notice of cancellation, a 30-day cancellation period will begin; the exception to this is Alachua County, which has a 60-day cancellation period.
